Congratulations AHCA/NCAL’s Silver—Achievement in Quality Award Recipients

Congratulations to the two North Carolina SNFs for being recognized with AHCA/NCAL‘s Silver-Achievement in Quality Award!  

• Compass Healthcare and Rehab of Guilford (Stokesdale)
• Liberty Commons/Bladen County (Elizabethtown)  

The program recognizes organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to improve the lives of residents and staff in long term and post-acute care. The Silver Award is the second of three distinctions possible through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program.  

Silver and Gold awarded centers have better quality metrics and surveys than the rest of the nation. A long term care center must first achieve the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award before moving to the Silver level. Applicants adhere to the criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program to evaluate and improve their processes, which leads to positive results.
